There is a beautiful tension that stretches between our consciousness and our reality. We are not merely a passive observer, we can interact with our environment and perceive the ripples of reaction flow. However, we are also undeniably affected by our world, for that is what our consciousness exists within. When the wind blows, the trees bend.

Are we action or reaction then? Is our very self a vehicle of Free Will or a slave to Determinism? And can we answer the question without descending into madness?
